Mike Myers has teased the possibility of a fourth Austin Powers movie, and fans are losing it.
The actor revealed that he would be keen to add a fourth instalment to the popular film franchise, the last film of which was released 20 years ago.
In the films, Myers plays international man of mystery, Austin Powers, his arch nemesis Dr Evil, as well as other roles.

Myers hinted at a possible revival of the franchise during an interview on the Today Show.
He said, 'I would love to do one. Yeah, yeah, yeah.'
That sounds positive to us, but then Myers added, 'We’ll see. I can neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of such a program, should it exist or not exist.'

Still, fans are holding out hope following the recent Super Bowl commercial that saw Myers, Rob Lowe, Seth Green and Mindy Sterling return to take over General Motors and tackle climate change.
The premise of the ad is that 'climate change is arguably the number-one threat to the world now', which obviously Dr Evil has to defeat if he has any hopes of taking over the world.
Yeah, not what we expected either but the ad was pretty funny, and as Deborah Wahl, General Motors' global chief marketing officer noted, it's an important issue to discuss.
She said, 'A large majority of first movers and the younger population, this is very much in line with their purpose and their vision, and they are very concerned about climate change overall.'
While it's yet to be seen whether Dr Evil will have an impact on climate change, the ad successfully reignited fans' hopes of a fourth film.

Discussing revisiting his character years later, Green explained, 'It really does feel like the band that has been playing together for 30 years. Austin Powers is still one of the most globally recognised things I've done. There is a fan base for it.'
The first Austin Powers movie was released in 1997 and was intended as a spoof of the James Bond movies.
Myers, who is a Saturday Night Live alum, was behind the premise, and the film reached something of a cult status amongst movie lovers.
Set in the 1960s, the film mocks typical spy film tropes and was an instant hit on release.

It grossed $67.7 million and was followed up by Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers: Goldmember.
