Legless fighter Zion Clark is set to make his MMA debut this weekend

It's sure to be an epic showdown, if his previous sporting achievements are anything to go by.

Zion Clark, a phenomenal athlete and boxer born without legs, is set to make his professional MMA debut in the coming days.

The 25-year-old will lace up his gloves on December 17 to fight Eugene Murray in San Diego in what is sure to be an epic showdown, if his previous sporting achievements are anything to go by.

Clark was born without legs due to a rare disorder called caudal regression syndrome, but that has never stopped him from kicking a** before.

We're sure the octagon will be no different.

Clark is already a former All-American Wrestler from Kent State University, a two-time state track champion, and three-time Guinness World Records title holder. Impressive.

Clark said, as per SPORTbible: "There’s nobody faster on their hands than me in the world. Now, nobody can do more push-ups than me in under three minutes, and nobody can jump off their hands higher than me.

"That means that I am number one."

Out of seven billion people on the planet, that's quite the achievement.

But it doesn't stop there.

According to MMA News, he's now got his eyes set on the 2024 United States Olympic team for wrestling.

But first, he plans to knock the wind out of a few MMA fighters first.

Speaking to TMZ, Clark revealed he's gearing up to take down able-bodied fighters armed only with his strength, wits, and true grit that has already seen him achieve so much.

"It's the same as wrestling for me. I just wrestle against able-bodied people, and I beat able-bodied people. Now I'm fighting able-bodied people, and I'm gonna knock out able-bodied people. It's as simple as that," he explained to the outlet.

He added: "I'm a fighter."

Speaking to Fox LA, Clark revealed what sets him apart not only from other MMA fighters but athletes in any other sport.

"I'm not exceptional because I don't have legs and I'm an athlete," Clark said.

"I'm exceptional because I have a drive and I live by the mantra ‘No excuses’ and I push myself forward every day."

He added: “This is the start of another professional career for me and I’m here to rip his throat out and put on a show for the crowd.”

Them's fighting words. Literally.

But, as Clark has previously proven, he's no stranger to a seemingly impossible showdown.

So, it looks like it is game on in the octagon this weekend for a showdown you surely don't want to miss.
