Joe Exotic makes baffling request to Andrew Tate from prison

The unlikely collab nobody asked for...

Never one to avoid throwing curveballs at us, Joe Exotic has made a baffling request to none other than Andrew Tate in a bizarre Instagram post.

The Tiger King is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence after he was convicted in January 2020 of two murder-to-hire counts of Big Cat Rescue CEO and rival Carole Baskin, and multiple wildlife violations.

But he's not letting prison stop him from dreaming big, as he's got his sights set on running for president in the 2024 US elections – in his words, he wants to 'Make America Exotic Again'.

Joe Exotic rose to fame in the Netflix documentary, Tiger King.

And he's enlisted the help from Tate – the controversial internet personality who was recently banned from Facebook and Instagram for violating their policies with views that have been described as 'misogynistic' and 'toxic'.

Perhaps Joe – real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage – didn't get the memo, as he has taken to Instagram to personally ask Tate to back his presidential bid.

Alongside a shirtless photo of the former Big Brother star, the Tiger King wrote: "Hey Andrew would you be interested in running on a ticket with me for 2024?"

He added the following hashtags: #makeamericaexoticagain #cobratate #tigerking #hearmeroar #tate #2024 #election #fixthisshit #freejoeexotic.

The news arrives a few months after Joe claimed to have started the next steps in his unlikely political career, writing on Twitter: "Just a heads up---I have filled out my federal papers to run for president for 2024 from federal prison if I have to, just like the Constitution says I can.

"I will be running as a Libertarian. All I am waiting for is for my appeal and my motion for a new trial..."

Plenty of people have shared their thoughts on the unusual collaboration request, with one writing: "This is the kind of silly s**t I follow for."

"Don’t make me not support you Joe…," said another, while a third added: "This can’t be f**king REAL THERES NO WAY."

A fourth chimed in: "Bro the slammer got your brain f**ked up don’t it."

Although Tiger King fans might not back Tate, he is one of many people who have called for the Netflix star's release from prison.

In a YouTube video posted back in June, Tate claimed to have spoken directly with Joe from jail while raising $1 million to help free him.

Whether this is true is yet to be seen, but he remains in prison so it appears his attempts haven't been successful just yet.

Nonetheless, Joe is certainly grateful for the support, having previously shared yet another topless photo of the former kickboxer alongside the caption: "Thank you Andrew Tate for being so supportive."

Fans were similarly left a bit baffled by the post, including this person who said: "Wrong guy to have on your side…"
