The most anticipated video game of the year is about to drop and critics have sent fans into overdrive with near-perfect scores and reports of once-in-a-lifetime gameplay.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting God Of War: Ragnarok since 2018 and the excitement was already palpable before the reviews started coming in.
And it looks like those waiting with bated breath might struggle to contain their excitement over the next few days.
Reviews indicate the game is good. Like, near-perfect score sort of good.

Gamers have been patiently waiting to be reunited with the games' characters Kratos and Atreus and their action-packed world.
So, as the hours tick down to November 9, you can either take solace in knowing it's going to be great or lose your patience entirely. Your call, really.
As per game ranking site Metacritic, which has kindly collated all of the reviews as they come in, the game brought in a clean 100 per cent score (out of 100) from a large chunk of critics.
Overall, the game is sitting at 94 per cent with 116 reviews, which is pretty damn high when you think about it.
Just wait til you read them though, as the game is being touted as a one-of-a-kind.
According to Video Gamer, the upcoming addition to the Playstation 5 is 'a masterpiece'.
Reviewer Tom Bardwell went on to describe the incredible world built by developers as 'nearly overwhelming in its vast scale'.
PC Games' Matthias Dammes also gave the game a glittering perfect score, calling it 'simply fantastic'.
"The story is excellently told, the characters outstandingly written, and the many gameplay innovations so well thought out and fun that the entire game is just a joy to play," he wrote.
Game Rant gave it another clean 100 and called God Of War: Ragnarok 'a once-in-a-generation game'.
We don't know about you gamers out there, but we are champing at the bit for this.
Also, we're camping outside our local video game store until November 9 to get out mitts on this bad boy ASAP.
If you've never played a God of War game, well, now is certainly the time to start.
The third-person action-adventure video game is steeped in mythology, magic, and adventure. If you liked Skyrim, Elden Ring, or Assassin's Creed then the time to start playing is right now.
Well, more accurately, on Wednesday when it finally drops for gamers everywhere.
We can hardly wait.
