Elon Musk is fuming following revelations that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign lied to the FBI in order to win the election.

It's being reported that a lawyer working for Clinton's campaign lied to the FBI to manipulate the agency in order to win the 2016 election. Musk has condemned the actions of Clinton, who allegedly created a hoax about former US President Donald Trump and his relationship with Russia.

He tweeted the following alongside a link to the BBC article: “Bet most people still don’t know that a Clinton campaign lawyer, using campaign funds, created an elaborate hoax about Trump and Russia.

All true.

Makes you wonder what else is fake.

A user replied with: “Elon out for blood now. Love to see it," to which Musk then responded: “I am indeed out for blood.”

Michael Sussman is the first defendant to go on trial as part of an investigation to find out if Trump was conspiring with Russia.

Sussmann looked into suspicious internet traffic that linked the Trump Organisation with Russia Alfa’s Bank in a 2016 meeting with an FBI agent, but the bureau found nothing of the sort.

He is being accused of lying by prosecutors after not disclosing his role in the Democrat campaign, and for presenting himself as a concerned citizen.

Sussmann’s prosecutor, Brittain Shaw, explained that he had hoped to come out with the revelation as the November 2016 race reached its climax.

Any previous Trump criminal conspiracy links with Russia were dispelled with the findings of the Mueller inquiry in 2019, but interestingly, it found that Russia wanted to help Trump win the election.

Trump has previously said that the Mueller inquiry was 'biased against him', and Republican-supporting Musk is not letting this one lie down.

The Tesla CEO has changed his allegiances in recent weeks, and said on Twitter: “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.

“But they have become the party of division and hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”

It will be fascinating to see how the Sussmann trial develops in the coming days.
