A Florida man who was on a first date with a model has been arrested for allegedly hitting her with his car after she refused his request to ‘sniff her feet’.
The alleged victim, who has requested anonymity, claimed that 28-year-old Elmoncy Sercle set up a meeting with her via the popular dating app, Seeking.
The pair met for the first time at the Serena Hotel in Aventura on August 24, as per an arrest affidavit obtained by The New York Post.
While in his hotel room, it’s understood the foot model was asked by Sercle if she would sell her used sneakers to him. He also allegedly asked if he could smell her feet, the outlet reported.

Speaking to Local 10, the woman said she had no issues with selling her date her shoes, but that she ‘didn’t feel comfortable’ with his second request.

“I mean, you could have my sneakers all you want," she explained. "And you know, they’re just stinky old sneakers. But people like weird things.”
The affidavit stated the woman was willing to part with her sneakers for $1,000 and informed Sercle, of southwest Miami-Dade, that she’d have to get them out of her car.

It’s understood that Sercle did not agree to the cost.
When his date went to the bathroom, he ran out of the hotel room. This led her to believe he’d stolen from her, police wrote.
The model ran to the parking lot, where she allegedly saw the accused driving a red SUV, according to investigators.
Officials wrote that Sercle allegedly passed his Seeking date in the car before completing a three point turn.

Speaking about the incident, the foot model said “By the grace of God, I’m still standing today.”
She described the alleged incident as not only scary, but ‘extremely bizarre', as per Local 10.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before,” she said. “I’ve met a lot of people who have foot fetishes, obviously, and nobody has ever done anything to this caliber.”
The affidavit stated that after allegedly hitting his date with the car, Sercle fled the scene.

Police arrested the man four days later (August 28) after he tried to book a room at the same hotel, as per PEOPLE.
Sercle has been charged with aggravated battery in connection with the incident and has pleaded not guilty, according to online court records.
During a bond court hearing, a judge found probable cause for the charges, issued a $3,000 bond and ordered Sercle to stay away from the victim, as per NBC Miami.
