Conservative political commentator Candace Owens believes workplace has worsened since women joined.

During her slot on the Daily Wire, she questioned a woman's place in the office and what impact it's had.

She stressed that she doesn't believe women shouldn't be working alongside men, but she did ask whether or not females have made things harder or easier.

“Things have gotten worse at work since women joined,” she claimed.

“Since women joined the workforce, I think that men are having to deal with all these landmines everywhere.”

She also went on to say that women are a 'distraction'.

Owens added men have to be wary of what they say while working alongside the opposite sex as it might be perceived as ‘sexual assault’.

That was quite the leap, Candace.

“'Do I tell her she looks nice today or is she gonna think that’s inappropriate - especially in a post-MeToo era, forget it,'” she said.

The 33-year-old rightfully received a significant amount of backlash following the episode.

One person on Twitter wrote: “Is Candace Owens unaware that she is a woman working in the workforce.”

Another said: “My biggest landmine is making my male coworkers look at my crocheting and pivoting the conversation away from football.”

While a third commented: “If Candace Owens thinks having women in the workplace is such a distraction, then she should put her money where her mouth is and stop working. Do us all a solid and just go.”

Owens then turned her sights to her own employer and started to ask some questions.

She continued: “I couldn’t even imagine the internal dialogue that men would be having at work at all times, and I laugh because this year the Daily Wire had a Christmas party, and I didn’t go for separate reasons, but I found out the Christmas party was dry.”

She added: “I thought to myself, ‘Why is it a dry party? Who ruined it?’ Right? Everyone knows Christmas parties are not supposed to be dry.

"You’re supposed to have a great time with all your colleagues, and everyone gets ridiculously drunk - it’s the one time of year you can do that.”

While she acknowledged that she’s unsure why no alcohol was served, she noted her workplace is probably avoiding ‘traps’.

To quote Madeleine Albright: “There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."
