Build-A-Bear Launches 'After Dark' Line And People Are Confused

What's wrong babe, you've hardly cuddled your satin-robbed, horny teddy bear?

It's clearly panda-monium at Build-A-Bear HQ, because the company has just launched a collection of horny bears that's left people plushing online.

Picture the scene: it's Valentine's Day, and you're out for a romantic evening with your partner. You enjoy some steak, a nice bottle of wine, and with a hop, skip and a jump, you're back home and ready to go to bed. 'I'm just going to go freshen myself up,' they tell you. 'You just go in, and I'll be through in a minute.'

As you walk through the door, you're met with sight that makes you paws: a satin-robed teddy bear atop the bed, ready to seduce you. Welcome to Build-A-Bear's world of 'after dark' bears.

The teddy titan recently unveiled some new bears in its vast selection. 'Wink, wink — our Giftshop is full of gifts for adults too! Shop Build-A-Bear After Dark for unique gift ideas that are sure to get you hugged,' the company wrote.

There's a few that'll really catch your eye, including: Pawlette, either wearing a t-shirt reading 'Bring on the bubbly' or another with a 'sparkly black dress and flats with a three-piece devil costume'; an assortment of normal teddies, with one wearing a red robe and the other in a 'black sequin Valentine's Day dress for some extra sparkle!'

'Who said soft toys were just for the kids? Why should they get to have all the fun? The Build-A-Bear plush gift collection has something for everyone — including soft toys for adults who are just kids at heart,' the company's 'soft toys for adults' section reads.

These randy bears have been met with a mixed reaction online. 'Umm noo don't like the idea. I love Build-A-Bear because of the sweetness. Every child in my family I get for as a tradition. Yeah let's don't lean this way, BaB please. Thank you. Still a good customer and huge fan,' one wrote. 'What in the furry,' another wrote.

'Man... this was SUCH a let down. They asked me if I was 18 so I could just... have bears that look like depressed middle-aged adults with alcoholism? Laaame,' a third tweeted. 'Misleading there are no BDSM bears,' a fourth wrote.

'Was hoping for some raunchy bears in kink gear, sorely disappointed it's all business professional outfits and spa attire,' a fifth complained. 'Sexy teddy bears over NFTs any day,' another wrote.
