Footage filmed from inside an ambulance shows the extraordinary driving skills of a paramedic as they weave their way through traffic.
The sirens and lights on emergency vehicles are designed to warn other drivers of their approach and encourage them to get out of the way, but when tasked with responding to a scene quickly there isn't always time to wait for an entirely clear path.
One ambulance driver demonstrates what happens in these kinds of situations by sharing footage from their vehicle on TikTok and Instagram, where they have gained thousands of views and followers.

It's unclear exactly where the TikToker, who simply goes by the handle @paramedicofficiall, operates, however they are thought to be navigating the streets of Turkey in their clips.
Regardless of their exact location, though, there's no denying that their driving skills are incredible as footage shows them weaving through traffic, barely slowing down as they squeeze through the tightest of gaps.

It's not as if ambulances are particularly small vehicles, and the way the van manages to glide through traffic in such a seemingly carefree manner calls to mind the behaviour of the Knight Bus in Harry Potter and the Prison of Azkaban.
We might not necessarily be able to see the screen getting narrower as the ambulance glides between cars, but knowing that it was magically getting smaller on the journey would at least help viewers get their heads around the sight.
Videos shared by @paramedicofficiall have been met with amazement from viewers across the globe, with many admitting that the fast-paced movements of the driver stressed them out. A number of viewers have accused the TikToker of speeding up their clip, but even if that's the case their ability to weave in and out of moving traffic remains impressive.

One viewer joked 'this Driver is ready for next Fast & Furious 10', while another commented: 'I'm getting an adrenaline rush just from watching this.'
Though the driver in these particular clips is undoubtedly confident on the road, their videos have been flagged by TikTok with a warning that reads: 'Participating in this activity could result in you or others getting hurt.'
In a comment added under one of their posts, @paramedicofficiall noted that driving fast can be dangerous and that 'speed, coolness [and] control' is 'in the nature' of their profession. When it comes to other drivers, they stressed that traffic rules should always be followed.
