Taylor Swift subtly responds to concerned fan mid-concert after break-up

She made a subtle gesture to the crowd during her recent show in Tampa, Florida

Taylor Swift appeared to give a subtle response to a fan who asked her if she was OK during her Eras tour show in Tampa this weekend amid speculation she has parted ways with her long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Swift and Alwyn are said to have gone their separate ways after six-years together, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight the split wasn’t dramatic and that ‘the relationship had just run its course’.

As you can imagine, since the news broke fans of the 33-year-old singer have been concerned about how she’s coping with the split while she embarks on her nationwide tour, which kicked off last month in Glendale, Arizona, and will draw to close on August 9 in Inglewood, California.

So much so, that according to fans, one concert-goer at Tampa on Saturday (April 15) held up a sign asking if Swift was OK - and in footage shared online, the singer can be seen quickly flashing a thumbs-up, seemingly letting them know she’s doing just fine:

Sharing the clip on TikTok, one fan wrote: “I don’t think I’ll ever get over that fact someone held up a sign, ‘you OK?’ and Taylor responding with [thumbs up emoji].”

The clip has since drawn plenty of attention from ‘Swifties’ with many delighted that the singer is doing alright and took the time to let fans know.

Commenting on the clip one fan said: “This is so cute bc be honest we’re all a little worried. Our girl has a lot going on at the moment.”

Another said: “I'm glad she replied because I'm worried and I hope she's alright. She knows we care so much about her.”

A third added: “I love that she responded. I hope she knows that we love her and care for her.”

Others were quick to point out that signs aren’t usually welcomed at live shows - as they block people’s view - but that on this occasion the sign-holder gets a free pass.

“At least they put it up when she was near then put it down immediately,” a fan wrote.

Someone else joked: okay now NOBODY ELSE BRING A SIGN.”

While another TikToker added: “That’s the way to do a sign quick up then down good job!”

As yet, neither Swift nor Alwyn have confirmed a split or publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
