By now you might have seen Winnie the Pooh is getting a dark reboot in the upcoming horror flick Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey - and it turns out that’s not the only beloved childhood favourite the director has got his sights set on.
Shortly after the A.A. Milne character slipped into public domain - meaning the character is out of copyright and free to use - director Rhys Waterfield shared his vision for a brand new take on the cute bear and his pals down at the Hundred Acre Wood.
And earlier this week, the first full trailer for the movie landed - you can see it here:
Now, Waterfield has revealed that not quite content with doing some serious damage to our childhoods with Winnie the Pooh, he’s actually got a few other ideas up his sleeve for public domain characters.

Speaking to TMZ, he said: "Essentially we've been kind of doing that for the last year now. Like, with you know Humpty Dumpty and things like that and there was there was other ideas we had in mind.
“For example Thor, the Norse God, isn't the property of Marvel so we could do kind of our own interpretation of that if we wanted. It didn't have the same, like, ring as Winnie did so we went on Winnie and done that. We've got loads of other ones planned as well so, like, we're doing a Peter Pan one."
But in the meantime, it seems we don’t have too long to wait until we can finally see Pooh and Piglet as we’ve never seen them before.

if you're wondering what exactly the film is about, the plot sees Pooh and Piglet go on a violent rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them.
And Winnie the Pooh actor Craig Dowsett has warned that it’s not for the faint-hearted.
He told UNILAD: "When I first read the script I knew this was going to be special! It left me stunned, amazed, and excited.

"I then knew straight away that playing the role of Winnie the Pooh in this horror retelling was going to be an epic journey."
And he warned: “Viewers can expect a serious storyline with lots of violence and gore, not for the faint-hearted."
Dowsett also suggested that a sequel could be on the cards, adding: “The director had already spoken of his desire to run a sequel so only time will tell with that, but yes I would definitely be interested in being a part of it once again."
