A contestant on The Price is Right got so excited about winning he dislocated his shoulder

After giving a classic excited celebration, he couldn’t even spin the wheel for himself because of the injury.

The contestant - named Henry - won the game of Bonkers where elements of Race Game, Split Decision, and One Away are all combined and was unsurprisingly pretty made up with himself.

He reacted as most of us might on The Price is Right – jumping up and down, pumping his fists in the air, shaking hands with host Drew Carey and cheering in excitement.

But after coming back from a commercial break, we learned Henry had gotten so over excited by his success he’d actually dislocated his shoulder.

Carey said: “Let me explain what happened. This is Alice, Henry’s wife. Henry was celebrating and going ‘woo’ and he dislocated his shoulder.”

As Henry walks back onto the set with his wife, his right arm is dangling beside him – a consequence of his epic celebration.

Carey explained this meant he isn’t ‘able to spin the wheel’ and Alice would therefore be doing so for him.

As she spins the mega wheel, Henry watches on proudly and says hi to his family watching at home.

Alice bagged a huge 95 on the wheel and flung her own arms up in the air, with the host jokingly warning her: “Don’t hurt yourself,” before there were not one but two injured lucky contestants.

It was worth a celebration though, as this score sent Henry to the Showcase Showdown and he ended up winning a trip to Hawaii - he’ll just need to make sure he takes a trip to the medic before then!

Filmed back in February, the show saw the funny side of this memorable contestant’s win and wrote on Instagram: “He won a trip to Hawaii and the ER.”

They did also reassure us that Henry is ‘feeling better and all healed’ since his gameshow-related injury.

Viewers saluted the contestant’s effort, writing in the comments: “What a trooper! He stayed the entire game obviously in pain.”

Another said: “That was crazy to watch. He had to be in pain but he kept on going!! So glad he gets a trip!”

While others also wrote: “Omg!! Now that’s a celebration! Glad you’re doing good Henry!”

And while many couldn’t believe he carried on finishing the show, another joked about his ‘healed’ injury, commenting: “How do you win so hard, you lose?”
