South Park premieres new season with ruthless episode ripping into Kanye West

Season 26 has torn the disgraced rapper to shreds.

South Park has premiered the first episode of the latest season and all shots have been fired at Kanye West.

While Matt Stone and Trey Parker are no strangers to controversy, season 26’s premiere episode, called ‘Cupid Ye’, has torn the disgraced rapper to shreds.

In this Valentine's Day-themed episode, Cartman’s 'Cupid Me' character morphs into the twisted 'Cupid Ye', a cherub who shoots hearts filled with antisemitism instead of love at his targets.

However, the plot shifts to Cartman’s jealousy over Kyle and Tolkien's newfound friendship.

Cartman then confronts Tolkien, who is a Christian, asking him if he really wants to hang out with Kyle, a Jew, ‘given all the new information lately’.

Cartman tells Tolkien: “You know, the stuff that’s come out about how the Jews stole the Black race’s identity? That the lost tribes of Judah were actually all Africans? You didn’t hear about this? Black people are actually the Jews and people like Kyle have taken that from them?”

But when Tolkien begs Cartman to stop the hateful rhetoric, the 10-year-old delves deeper, claiming the Jews lied about the persecution they faced in World War Two when they escaped to America.

He adds that while the Jews realized that African Americans were already ‘underclass’ in the country, they had to ‘invent a story for themselves which they could make everyone believe because Kyle runs Hollywood!’

Later in the episode, Cartman even appears on national TV in a black balaclava perpetuating his ridiculous conspiracy theory behind the community - a clear nod to Ye’s interview on the InfoWars podcast.

The episode has received positive praise, with many noting Stone and Parker’s clever way of portraying how wild conspiracies manifest.

One Twitter user wrote: “'I think he’s using Christianity to be a racist piece of s**t’ - nothing has ever been more true about Kanye west hahahaha #SouthPark.”

Another shared: “First episode of this new season of South Park is about Kanye and TikTok. And Christians lol. Perfect. Let's hope it's more than five damn episodes.”

While a third said: “Finally South Park is back to their good old episodes and now they're roasting the s**t out of #kanye I literally can't breathe I'm laughing so hard.”

The next episode of South Park is scheduled for February 19.
