Quentin Tarantino has shared who he believes is the 'weakest f****** actor' in Hollywood in a scathing attack.

From Pulp Fiction to Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, Tarantino's projects are some of the most loved in the industry.

And while the director has made some of the best films over the years, he's certainly a fan of watching movies that are outside of the ones he has worked on.

Tarantino is a huge fan of 2007's There Will Be Blood, even ranking it as his fifth favorite movie of the 21st century.

But there is one reason why the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed flick doesn't rank higher for the veteran filmmaker, with Tarantino citing a 'big giant flaw'.

During a recent episode of The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast, Tarantino said: "There Will Be Blood would stand a better chance to be in number one or number two if it didn't have a big giant flaw in it, and the flaw is Paul Dano."

Tarantino went on to highlight Daniel Day-Lewis' impressive performance, which earned him an Oscar.

"Obviously, it's supposed to be a two-hander, and it's also so drastically obvious that it's not a two-hander," he continued.

The director did not stop there with his criticism of The Batman star Dano, slamming him as a 'weak sauce, man' thinking he's 'another terrific actor'.

"Austin Butler would have been wonderful in that role. [Dano] just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy," Tarantino added.

He continued to slam Dano as 'the weakest male actor in SAG', harshly describing him as the 'limpest d***' in the world.

"I'm not saying he's giving a terrible performance. I'm saying he's giving a non-entity performance," the 62-year-old later clarified.

Tarantino was asked if he's enjoyed any projects Dano had been involved in, to which he responded: "I don't care for him. I don't care for him, I don't care for Owen Wilson, and I don't care for Matthew Lillard."

His comments were widely shared after the podcast release and have certainly not gone down well with many people on the internet.

One person penned on X: "Listen, I think Tarantino is the GOAT when it comes to character development and storytelling, nobody touches him there. But he’s way off on this one. Dano absolutely crushed that role."

A second added: "This might be the dumbest thing Tarantino has ever said."

While someone else wrote: "Quentin Tarantino could not be more wrong about Paul Dano if he tried."

UNILAD has reached out to Tarantino and Dano's representatives for comment.
