Warning: This article contains discussions of suicide which some readers may find distressing

Viewers are warning true crime viewers over a series which is 'one of the best documentaries on Netflix' but 'very disturbing'.

If you've already sped your way through the Netflix documentary with the 'craziest plot twist' and haven't had enough of scaring yourself so badly you can barely walk to your bedroom without the lights on, then there's another documentary on the streaming platform which left some viewers unable to 'sleep properly for a whole month'.

The true crime documentary was created and directed by Leena Yadav and Anubhav Chopra.

It features interviews with clinical hypnotherapist Anita Anand, reporter Hemani Bhandari, journalist Barkha Dutt and several police officials and scientists.

The series focuses its story on the real life family of the Buraris, 11 members of whom were found dead in India on 30 June, 2018 - 10 discovered hanged and the grandma strangled.

The docuseries - titled House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths - interrogates theories which arose surrounding the deaths, questioning whether it was 'suicide, murder... or something else'.

Every episode opens with the warning: "The following series contains graphic depictions of suicide which some viewers may find troubling." And viewers reactions prove just how crucial it is that this warning is included.

The three-part series has received an impressive Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer score of 80 percent, alongside an audience score of 76 percent.

However, while an 'interesting' series, that doesn't mean viewers haven't been left feeling haunted by it.

And while the series was first released onto Netflix back in October 2021, viewers are still shook by it to this day.
