Plane etiquette is an ongoing topic of debate, and one man has raised eyebrows for his actions during a flight.
One thing that's been discussed previously is what kind of luggage you should place in the overhead lockers, and one guy took issue with people putting their backpacks up there.
"The easiest way to tell if someone is a good person in an airport is to see where they put their luggage when they get on a plane," the traveler said in a TikTok video.
"If they put their carry-on luggage in the overhead compartment and they put their personal item — like their backpack or their purse — under the seat, they're a good person and they're aware of their surroundings."

He continued to hail those who put small personal belongings in the lockers as the 'worst' kind of passenger.
Now, another topic is being debated: those who take their shoes (and socks) off during a flight.
A video shared to TikTok by Natalie Buffet shows a man exiting the plane's restroom completely bare foot.
"Straight to jail," she captioned the clip that's been viewed over nine million times.

But not everybody saw issue with the man's behavior.
"wth did he do wrong," one person questioned. Another penned: "He didn’t do anything."
"What was wrong with him walking out of the bathroom," said somebody else.
Others were on Natalie's side, however, and said what the man did was 'disgusting'. While going barefoot on a plane is questionable to some, the key issue people seemed to have was the fact he went to the toilet without his shoes on.

"The amount of people who don’t see the issues with this is disturbing," someone said of those who didn't get what he supposedly did wrong.
"Well that’s effing disgusting," wrote a second, as a third continued: "Barefoot in a plane toilet is diabolical."
"Barefoot in an airplane bathroom is savage AF," echoed a different person.

Some airlines actively prohibit people from going barefoot onboard a plane; Delta and American Airlines included.
American Airlines' website asks of its passengers: "Dress appropriately; bare feet or offensive clothing aren’t allowed."
Elsewhere, Delta warns that it may refuse to transport someone who is barefoot, says The Sun.
The key issue is hygiene, travel YouTuber Megan Gougeon explained.

"The primary reason is for your own health and safety," she said in one of her videos. "Planes only get a quick surface cleaning between flights, leaving carpet and floors full of some pretty gross remnants."
"Walking barefoot on these surfaces puts you at risk of picking up foot fungus or other infections," Megan added.
