Female diver ignores warning for 'no women allowed' on waterslide and goes down anyway

Australian high diver Rhiannan Iffland decided to ignore the warnings

Australian high diver Rhiannan Iffland decided to risk it all and went down a waterslide that had warnings stating that it wasn't suitable for women.

The sign at Austria’s Area 47 adventure park showed a picture of someone crossing their arms and legs to demonstrate what position you should be in when going down the slide.

Elsewhere on the sign, it warned: "Due to high risk of injury, women are not allowed to use this slide."

But Iffland wasn't taking no for an answer, and went down it anyway.

While she isn't thought to have sustained an injury from going down it, the diver wasn't rushing to go back on it again.

It wasn't totally clear from the sign why women were prohibited from going on the slide, but people's comments on Iffland's video answered the question, as they shared their experiences of getting waterslide enema.

An enema is when liquid is inserted into the butt to help relieve constipation - so, I don't think I need to explain what these women were talking about when using the phrase.

One person wrote on Iffland's TikTok video: "Unfortunately I got a water slide enema. Peed out half the swimming pool in the toilet from my butt. I literally couldn’t stand upright after it happened. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced."

Obviously, men going on the slide could also experience this, but women pointed out that females simply have 'too many holes' to be dealing with the potential influx of water.

One woman explained: "I have gone to one of those. [...] Not an enema but the other one. Deep cleaning that baby box. Never again."

Another added: "Goes into places it really shouldn’t then gushes out when you stand up not fun."

"| went on a slide like this, water straight up both holes," wrote a third.

Away from the apparent enema-like affects extreme waterslides can have, some women have also sustainable other types of injuries in the place you least want them.

According to a 1998 study, published in the National Library of Medicine, women can sustain grievous vaginal injuries if high-pressure water enters the female body.

Moreover, if these injuries are sustained, women can become increasingly susceptible to infection due to foreign bodies found in the water.

Now you probably understand why the sign tells you to cross your legs...

While Iffland was unharmed, it's probably best you don't ignore warning signs like these.
