For anyone that has some stunning or even bizarre designs inked onto them, you'll know getting new tats can become pretty addictive.

Once you've taken the plunge on one, the second, third and maybe even fourth may soon follow afterwards.

One woman who is renowned for all her tattoos is Melissa Sloan, 46, who is actually famed for being covered head to-toe in ink.

In fact, the mum-of-two has 800 tattoos, leading her to believe she is the 'world's most tattooed person'.

You are probably thinking how often Melissa gets a tat - considering she has so many.

Well, the mum gets a staggering three a week.

But while Melissa may love tattoos, her appearance has impacted every aspect of her life from being banned in her local pub to getting a job.

Melissa's tattoo addiction has impacted all aspects of her life.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Melissa said: "I can’t get a job. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos.

"People have said I have never had a job in my life, but I have had one once, and it didn’t last long.

"If someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work – I would take that offer."

Melissa's tattoos have also impacted her children's lives too, as the mum claims she had to watch her children's nativity play last year through the window, as she was not allowed inside of the school.

"No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school, I don't get invited," she told The Mirror.

Melissa has also been barred from her local pub because of the way she looks.

Nonetheless, Melissa says there's 'nothing she can do about it' now, as she plans to continue to get inked until she is 70 if she can.

"Every bit of skin will be covered even if I’m turning blue, my face is already turning blue — I look like a Smurf," she told The Mirror.

Melissa plans to keep have tattoos until she is 70.

She may have a problem with getting more ink though, as Melissa has even been banned from some tattoo parlours.

Every inch of Melissa's head is covered in tattoos, but one layer was not enough for the tattoo lover.

It got to the point where she started inking over her original designs, until she had covered her whole face twice.

Melissa has even gone for a third layer in recent times, making her adamant she is the Guinness World Record holder for the world's most tattooed person.

She said: "I'm trying to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

"I've got three layers on my face, I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not then at the rate I'm going on I probably will have in the end - I keep going over and over them."
