Woman who was clinically dead for 15 minutes vividly describes what she saw in heaven

Dr Lynda Cramer experienced 'heaven' when she was pronounced medically dead in 2001

A woman who was pronounced 'clinically dead' for nearly a quarter of an hour has offered rare insight into the things she remembers seeing when life as she knew it momentarily stopped.

There are all sorts of theories and images trying to guess at what an 'after-life' might look like.

Some people think it doesn't exist, others imagine it as a place filled with loved ones, and some imagine pearly gates and lots of clouds.

We won't actually know for sure until we reach the end of our lives - but Dr Lynda Cramer had the rare opportunity to experience that and come back to tell the tale.

It was May 6, 2001, when Cramer went to the toilet in the early hours of the day, and felt like she was drifting off to sleep.

In reality, Cramer was having a medical emergency, and by the time medics arrived, they actually pronounced her medically dead for 14 minutes.

Cramer's reality didn't turn to nothingness in this time, however. Instead, she described being able to see the paramedics come into her home to help her earthly body, while she watched from above.

She also remembered visiting heaven; a world where time apparently doesn't behave the same way as it does down here on Earth.

Instead, Cramer said she would estimate the passage of time depending on how far she had travelled through the new world she found herself in.

In the space she believed to be heaven, Cramer said she could assume any form she wanted - even other people she met there. The area was filled with striking individuals and stunning sights, she said.

In an interview on the NDE Diary YouTube channel, she explained: "That's when I found myself standing in what I termed the the field of flowers. I was observing the mountain range 30,000 times huger than Mount Everest.

"There's a huge mountain range over in the back of wherever I was. I could see buildings with skyscrapers. Dubai are like little miniature huts in comparison. I saw lakes, I could see everything in a panoramic view."

"So I'm there interacting with people, talking to people, becoming them."

Cramer also described how if she wanted to be somewhere, all she had to do was think it.

By doing so, the doctor felt instantly transported to that place, regardless of whether it was the top of a mountain range or some other, typically hard-to-reach location.

Cramer has further opened up about her experience in her book, Five Years In Heaven: The Teachings of Heaven.
