Mom outraged to find home ruined after daughter's sleepover turned into house party

The mom said it would take a 'long time' for the house to get back to normal

Hands up if you've ever had a 'gathering' at your house that quickly got out of control? If not, chances are you've attended one.

The parties are great to go to, but admittedly probably not so fun if you're the parent who has to return home to the trashed rooms, sticky carpets and broken ornaments.

I've personally never had the displeasure of coming back to such a home, but one mom who has is TikToker @resolutera.

The furious mom took to the platform to share her frustrations after she came home from a weekend away to find that her daughter, who'd planned to have a 'sleepover', had ended up having a 'house party'.

It's a tale as old as time, but obviously that doesn't make it any easier to digest.

In her post, the mom explained: "This is a p***ed off parent of a child who had a house party while we went away for the weekend... and now my house is f**king destroyed."

To put things in perspective, the mom claimed her house would have been more difficult to clean than the house featured in the movie Project X.

She then went on to list the sight she was met with when she returned home, saying there were 'burn marks' around the house from where the attendees had 'gone around with a lighter and a can of deodorant'.

She also found 'phones, knives' and, bizarrely, 'partially cooked eggs'.

"They set off a fire extinguisher in my home," she continued. "That s**t is not good. [It was] a powder one."

After looking through the videos found on one of the abandoned phones, the mom discovered someone had been 'sick in [her] bed'.

As if that all wasn't enough, the attendees had also 'stolen a load of [the family's] sh*t'.

The mom made clear that her daughter would take 'full responsibility' for the party, but pointed out it was 'not what you need after a lovely, long, relaxing weekend away'.

In a follow-up video, she further explained all the damage had been caused by just nine people after they were asked to leave the house the morning after the gathering.

She said: "My daughter asked them to tidy up things, like their own vomit, and they refused so she asked them to leave. Then they went around and did all of the major destruction things.

"She messaged me on the Sunday after I checked in and had said to me that things had not gone well, and that she wanted the opportunity to sit down with me and my husband when we got home."

The mom revealed that she reported the incident to the police, adding: "It's gonna take a long time for us to get the house back to normal, I mean it really needs redecorating now there are so many stains and so many marks.

"I don't wanna judge the parents of the boys that did this, but I would imagine that this is not the sort of behaviour that they condone."
