Deadpool is bigger than ever right now and has seemingly invaded a Disney theme park, making some rather risqué jokes.

If you have somehow managed to avoid all manner of media you might not know that Deadpool’s third film, Deadpool & Wolverine has just come out.

The edgy anti-hero is known for breaking the rules and the fourth wall which often contributes to his popularity - and is probably why he tried to get away with this joke.

Since the third movie in the franchise marks Deadpool's first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the rights were bought from Fox, the loud-mouthed mercenary has been spotted at Disney’s California Adventure Park.

Clips of one of the park's actors (not Ryan Reynolds himself, unfortunately) getting up to some typical Deadpool antics has certainly been turning heads, especially one quip that has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the character makes a joke referencing dating apps Tinder and Grindr and even alludes to another MCU hero being on there.

Addressing the crowd atop the gift shop, aptly named Avenger’s Vault, Deadpool says: “Here’s Deadpool. What do we have here?

“We have the Disney Parks app, Instagram, TikTok, Tinder, Grindr, wow Mr Stark I love your new profile picture.”

On social media this very minor joke seemed to spark a huge debate.

“Wow grinder at a Disney park I never thought that word will never be said by a disney character,” one person commented on Instagram.

A second joked: "He is really pushing the Pg13 rating."

While a third added: "The fact he mentions Grindr in a Disney park is mind-boggling to me."

Another wrote: "Cringe. This feels like something designed for Halloween Horror Nights. It’s not giving 'the place for families to visit on summer vacation'."

“'Mr Stark I like your new profile picture' has me dying right now. It’s probably Victor Von Doom lol,” said someone else, referencing Robert Downey Jr's recently announced role.

However, some social media users failed to see the light-hearted nature of the joke and claimed it was completely inappropriate for a theme park full of kids.

Others pointed out that if it was inappropriate to mention Grindr - which is designed for gay, bi, trans, and queer people - it would be equally inappropriate to mention Tinder, since they are both 18+ dating apps.

As well as this, many suggested it was a joke that most young children would not understand and would be aimed solely at the parents accompanying them.

UNILAD has contacted Disney’s California Adventure Park for comment.
