Rihanna's backup dancers reveal they had no idea she was pregnant for Super Bowl show

Looks like we weren't the only ones stunned by RiRi's big reveal.

One of Rihanna's Halftime backup dancers has revealed that the singer’s entire performance crew had no idea she was pregnant until midway through the show.

Dancer Laila Hayes told Entertainment Tonight that the Barbadian singer hid the news of her second pregnancy to her entire crew of 280 dancers, meaning they were just as surprised as the rest of us,

"I don't think anybody really knew she was pregnant. She hid it very well," Hayes told ET.

Hayes went on to reveal that the self-made billionaire only rehearsed with the backup crew in the final days before her performance., despite the dancers training together since early January.

Hayes said that often choreographer Parris Goebel acted as her stand-in during rehearsals.

She also claimed when the 34-year-old superstar did show up, she kept her distance from the dance crew.

"[Rihanna] was rehearsing on stage [and] they made sure that they had her safe in the middle of the stage and then the group that I was in would stay on the sidelines," Hayes recalled.

Hayes admitted that she was totally taken by surprise because Rihanna had kept the jacket zipped up in rehearsal.

'We were all confused watching it during the real thing when she went up there and was showing her stomach,' she explained. 'She wore the same outfit for one of the dress rehearsals but it was zippered up.'

The dancer revealed she was taken by surprise, as were many others that made up the dance ensemble.

Fellow dancer Luhnyae Campbell told ET she 'never saw a bump' while on stage to 'rewatch the performance' to fully process what had happened after Bad Gal RiRI's big reveal.

In case you missed it, the Barbadian star descended from the sky on Super Bowl Sunday in what was her first live gig in over five years.

The 34-year-old performed a medley of hits from across her career during the traditional half-time show, clad all in red, but fans immediately began speculating as to whether she was pregnant again after she took the stage.

Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child – a boy – into the world last May, but now it has been confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that a second is on the way.

And now it appears not everyone was in on the big secret beforehand.

Sneaky, sneaky.
