Zak Bagans, star of paranormal investigation show Ghost Adventures and owner of The Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, says that he wants to return Paul Walker's sunglasses to his family.

Bagans purchased the sunglasses, which Walker was wearing at the time of his fatal car crash in 2013, after a man who claimed he found them in a bush after the wreckage was cleared reached out to Bagans after the sunglasses did not sell at auction.

Now, Bagans has said he'd like to return the sunglasses to the Fast and Furious legend's family, adding that if they don't want the item back then he'll ask for permission to display them in a memorial exhibit at the museum.

Outrage was initially sparked when Walker's sunglasses went up for auction in 2014 for $15,000, as reported by TMZ.

The man who claimed to have found them said that he tried to get in touch with Walker's family but didn't hear back, so he subsequently put them up for auction.

Walker's family have not commented on the resell of his sunglasses at the time of writing.

Last year, Walker's daughter, Meadow, posted a touching tribute to her father on the anniversary of his passing.

"I love and miss you endlessly. Today and everyday I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend," she said.

Walker's godfather, Vin Diesel, has also continued to pay tribute to his friend, in the recent Fast and Furious movies as well as walking Meadow down the aisle last year.

Diesel has continued to be present in Meadow's life following her father's death, and he stepped up again when she married her now-husband, Louis Thornton-Allan, in October 2021.

Meadow took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her special day, with one showing Diesel holding her arm as she walked down the aisle.

People were quick to react to the footage, with one user saying: "Vin Diesel walked Paul Walker’s daughter down the aisle and now here I am crying in public."

Another added: "Vin Diesel walking Meadow Walker down the aisle at her wedding in place of Paul has me shaking and crying right now."

Diesel wasn't the only Fast and Furious star who turned up for Meadow's big day, with Jordana Brewster – who plays Mia Toretto, Walker's love interest in the film – also in attendance.
