Travelling to different countries can be an exciting way to experience other cultures, but if you’re unaccustomed to close proximity, it’s best to sit this one out.
Mia Challiner, a British TikToker known for her health and wellness videos is currently travelling around Vietnam with her brother.
Previous videos showed the pair shopping and eating beautiful food and it all seemed to be going well. That was, until the dreaded sleeper bus.

According to Challiner, the night on the sleeper bus was 'one of the worst nights' of her life due to cramped conditions, no toilets and sleeplessness.
She uploaded her journey on the vehicle from Hanoi to Hoi an, documenting why she found the experience so bad.
Challiner explained to her two million followers the 20-hour bus ride seemed 'kind of fun' at the time when she booked it.

But that opinion was soon to change.
As she is 6ft 2, it posed a problem immediately as ‘the average height here in Vietnam is 5ft’.
She said: “I mean, I should have known that was literally a recipe for disaster.”
“Before leaving for the bus station I had a shower at the hotel spa because I didn't know if the bus was gonna stop at any point”.

This would be a good thing to have done as the bus didn’t stop for refreshments.
She explained: “When booking online we were able to choose which seats we were gonna have and we chose the ones at the top which we quickly realised was a silly decision.”
“On the bus we had to take our shoes off and then headed straight to our seats,” the TikToker explained.

“Listen, I did not anticipate the fact that I would have no storage space at all. I've seen videos of people having these massive beds but I guess not.”
“My room had a little curtain and I got given a blanket and a bottle of water, which I did not touch.”
“I actually didn't drink for the whole 20-hour trip because I quickly found out there were no toilets on board.”
It seemed as though the pair just wasn’t having a great time on the sleeper bus as she wasn’t able to sleep for more than a couple hours before being woken up.

After being startled awake, she believed that there was a break for refreshments, and so she followed a man to a room which turned out to be a toilet.
She said: “in my head I thought, right this must be a dinner break and luckily I had picked up a salad before getting on the bus but no I found out this was just a toilet break and I ended up p****** in this hole with my salad in my hand.”
The TikToker decided that in the end, she should have known better, calling herself ‘delusional’ after so little sleep.
