People think they’ve worked out what Selena Gomez said to Taylor Swift in viral Golden Globes clip

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift sat next to each other at the Golden Globes ceremony last night, where they were filmed in the middle of an apparent piping hot tea-spilling session.

Taylor's reaction to bestie Selena seemingly telling her some obvious dramatic gossip has gone viral on X, with fans going into a frenzy speculating what was said between the pair.

In the clip, Taylor looks incredulous as Selena moves in close to tell her the news, while she looks horrified, clutching at her chest in disbelief, seemingly too stunned to say anything in response.

As usual, the Swifties don’t miss a thing when it comes to the singer and were quick to share what they could lip read, with some calling it ‘obvious’ what she was being told.

As the clip gets shared more and more around social media, fans continue to speculate what Selena says to Taylor and seem convinced they can lip-read the conversation, with one fan sharing the viral clip suggesting: “i asked for a picture with him and she (kylie jenner) said no” – selena gomez “with timothee?” *selena nods*"

This has caused a stir for Selena's fanbase, as Kylie is friends with Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber's wife. Selena was in a near decade-long relationship Justin.

Although Hailey and Selena have been pitted against each other in the media, they have made a conscious effort to make it clear they have no bad blood towards each other, with Selena even making her own post telling fans to 'leave Hailey alone' and the pair sharing a sweet selfie together.

So if fans' lip-reading skills are up to scratch, and Kylie did tell Selena she can't have a picture with her rumoured boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet, it's unclear why. But that doesn't stop the Selena fanbase from rallying to support her.
