Taylor Swift fans have urged a woman not to chow down on a loaf of sourdough bread that she claims has been baked by the pop star's own hands.
The world of sourdough starters and failed creations might seem a relic of the coronavirus pandemic, when many of us had too much time on our hands. But apparently, for Swift, the obsession with bread never went away.
She first revealed her surprisingly down-to-earth hobby while speaking to fiancé and NFL tight end Travis Kelce on his podcast, New Heights, in August last year.
The 36-year-old shared how the obsession had 'taken over my life', even sending her loaves to celebrity friends for feedback.

But a singular slice of one of her sourdoughs has purportedly made it into the hands of a regular person, who shared on TikTok the amazing find and reviewed the Life of Ophelia singer's foray into the art of baking.

New Yorker Nat Bosu stunned online Swifties when she showed off a Ziploc bag containing a single slice of a loaf, which she cryptically said was given to her by 'friends in high places' to avoid snitching on her sourdough source.
She told her viewers: "I have a piece of Taylor Swift's sourdough. You don't have to believe me, I know it's Taylor Swift's sourdough."
Bosu showed off her slice of Swift to the camera, revealing its crumbly golden crust and even smattering of classic sourdough bubbles, adding: "I've been gluten-free for like 10 years, but like if a piece of Taylor Swift's sourdough comes across my desk, I'm gonna eat it.
"Here's the piece, I'm gonna put it in the toaster. I only want like a little bit, but I feel like maybe I should freeze some and save it for when I need a little extra whimsy in my life."
But her decision to eat a piece of pop history left some mega fans shocked at her desecration of something that had been shaped and kneaded by the Grammy-winning artist.

One Swiftie told Bosu they would 'freeze it and save it forever' rather than commit the sacrilege of destroying one of their idol's creations, while another expressed disbelief, saying: "I’d frame it are you kidding."
Another shared that they had tried a Taylor Swift loaf themselves and gone to extreme efforts to preserve their memory of it forever. They commented: "I saved a little to dry out and put the crumbs in a resin necklace."
Some even said they would take the slice to the grave rather than eat it, with one adding: "I would just frame it or put it in a bracelet or smth & always look after it like it would be in my coffin [with] me."
In recent months, everyone from Jimmy Fallon to the Haim sisters have been given a prized loaf in a variety of flavors by the pop superstar, with each bread often labeled with a Swift-related pun. These include loafs named after her recent releases, including The Fate of Doughphelia and Life of a Doughgirl.
