Offset admits he lied that Cardi B cheated on him while drunk on tequila
He made the accusation via his Instagram Story earlier this year, but it was swiftly deleted
Offset has admitted he lied that Cardi B had cheated on him while drunk on tequila, saying he had been a little worse for wear after a night on the booze when he decided to post.
The couple - who share daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, four, and son Wave Set Cephus, one – got married in September 2017, although their relationship hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing over the years.
In September 2020, Cardi B actually filed for divorce, but not long after she called off the separation.

Earlier this year, the Migos rapper took to his Instagram Stories to accuse his wife of cheating on him, writing: “My wife f****d a n**** on me gang yall n***** know how I come.”
However, as swiftly as the post went viral, it was deleted soon after.
Cardi B – who has previously accused Offset of cheating – later took to Twitter spaces to address the rumours of her infidelity, opening with a little rendition of Keyshia Cole’s ‘I Should Have Cheated’.
She said: “Listen, don’t pay attention to that country man y’all. Don't pay attention that country man.
“That Spaces the other day got mother**kers spiraling and thinking s**t. Come on now. I'm f**king Cardi B, n***a. I think sometimes mother**kers forget I'm Cardi B.
“If I was giving this p*ssy to anybody, it would be out, I’m not just anybody. Can't f**k with no regular-degular-shmegular, 'cause they gonna tell the world.
“And I can't f**k anybody in the industry, 'cause they gonna tell too.”
Cardi B then added: “So please boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting Stupid.
“Going crazy over a f**king space. Don't play with me. What the f**k. Stop playing. Thats all I'm gonna motherf**king say."
She treated us to a couple more bars of Keyshia Cole before slamming him: “Like get the f**k outta here n***a, you can’t be serious.”
Now Offset has spoken out about the drama, admitted he was ‘lit’ on tequila when he threw out the accusations about his wife.
Speaking about the spat on the Way Up with Angela Yee podcast, he explained how they had been fighting at the time, and posted the comments in a bid to wind her up.
He said: “That post, to be honest... that's my wife. I love her to death, but we're going back and forth and if you've got a New York woman, you know, she's a pitbull at the mouth.
“She get crazy at the mouth a little bit and I was really lit that night. I was lit, had a little Casamigos here and there.”
Referring to the post, he went on: “I was lit and we’re going back and forth and I’m like, ‘Watch this’.
“She got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day. But she crazy, man. I'm crazy. We're crazy for each other.”
