Miley Cyrus rushes to get restraining order from stalker who recently got out of prison

The singer says the man has been stuffing messages in her mailbox demanding money and making sexually explicit comments.

Miley Cyrus has rushed to get a restraining order against a man who recently got out of prison.

According to TMZ, the singer has been bombarded by Alexander Kardalian since 2018.

She alleges the now-52-year-old has been stuffing her mailbox with loads of letters.

Some of the messages demand money from her, whereas others contain a variety of sexually explicit comments.

But he reached his height of stalker behavior last year when he allegedly showed up to her home twice and demanded to see her.

He was finally arrested in December last year and was sent to San Quentin State Prison.

However, he was released from prison in August and it didn't take long for him to turn up at her house once again, according to the Daily Mail.

When he was behind bars, he sent her messages saying her was going to visit her when he got out and it looks like he wasn't kidding.

Thankfully for Miley, he was stopped by security when he made good on his threat, who contacted police about the incident.

But she's asked for a temporary restraining order to be placed on Kardalian as Miley has extreme fears for her safety, as well as the safety of her mom, Tish, and boyfriend, Maxx Morando.

The 30-year-old said in her request that Kardalian is suffering with 'severe mental health challenges' and has a 'dangerous fixation and/or obsession' with her.

A judge has granted the order and the 52-year-old has been told he remain at least 100 yards away from the singer, her home, her car, and any venues that she's performing at for the foreseeable future.

Celebrities are prone to this sort of behavior all the time.

Matthew McConaughey had a recent run-in with an alleged stalker at a meet and greet for his book.

According to TMZ, while McConaughey knew the woman in question, the actor claimed she has been bothering him for years.

Police had been informed of the restraining order he'd filed against her and when she showed up to the book launch, the alleged stalker was greeted by officers who immediately escorted her out before she could try and get close to the star.

The woman, whose identity hasn't been disclosed to the public, has allegedly attempted to be in touch with McConaughey since last year through emails, letters and lawsuits. Things escalated when she showed up at the book presentation, where children were present.
