Megan Fox brutally responds to wild conspiracy theory that she's a clone

Megan Fox has responded to a very strange conspiracy theory about her.
When it comes to conspiracy theories, there are certainly some pretty weird and whacky ones out there.
There's of course the Moon landings being faked, a classic vintage of conspiracy theory which even saw astronaut and moonwalker Buzz Aldrin coming to blows.
Alternatively, there's the flat earth theory that the Earth is not round, but flat and balanced on the back of a giant turtle that is flying through space - or is that from Terry Pratchett books?

But not all conspiracy theories are this grand in their scope, with one forsaking theorising about the cosmos or 'ancient aliens', and instead focussing on Hollywood actor Megan Fox.
This conspiracy, which has somehow gripped parts of the internet, is that Fox is not actually real, but a clone.
This conspiracy originated in a meme that was responding to Fox appearing more on the red carpet with her partner at the time Machine Gun Kelly in 2020, and partly came from rumors that Fox had undergone cosmetic surgery.
There is also a broader conspiracy that celebrities are being replaced with clones, no doubt for some nefarious purpose to bring about or maintain world domination by some shadowy cabal.
And while it doesn't really need to be pointed out - there is of course zero evidence of any of this.
But now Fox has responded to some people pushing the theory with a clap back.
It's come after a series of racy photos were shared to Fox's Instagram account with the caption 'everything is more beautiful because we are doomed'.
Some joked that this was an example of the 'clone', with one writing: "This isn't Megan. This is a Clone."
Meanwhile, another posted: "Whoever typed in the coding for this clone. Tweaked the cheeks."
Responding to the comments, Fox wrote simply: "B***h a clone could never."
The pictures on her page showed Fox striking poses in a black t-shirt, black tights up to her thighs, as well as a black thong and heels.
And it wasn't just Fox's fans who took to the comments either.
Fox's ex Machine Gun Kelly also popped up in the comments to express his admiration of the snaps that she had shared.
He wrote: "Stoked I have your phone number."
The pair have been separated since November 2024, and split up not long after they confirmed that they were expecting a baby together.
