Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell responds after Megan Fox finally gives her thoughts on 'lookalike'

Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell has issued a response after Megan Fox gave her thoughts on the whole 'lookalike' saga.

The whole thing kicked off during season six of Love is Blind when Chelsea told her beau, Jimmy Presnell, in the pods that she had been told she looked like Megan.

"Do you ever get told you look like a celebrity?" Chelsea asked Jimmy on the show.

Once he confirmed that he did, she replied: "I do, too. All the time on the planet. I get one person, and it's just because I have dark hair and blue eyes."

"But I don't see it, so don't get excited. I don't even know if it's MGK's wife or girlfriend..." Chelsea continued.

"Megan Fox?!" Jimmy exclaimed. "You're saying you look like Megan Fox?"

"It's just because I have light eyes and dark hair," she immediately quipped back.

"That's the only reason, there's nothing else. At least I'm assuming so."

Like many viewers, Jimmy really couldn't see the resemblance and he even accused Chelsea of 'lying' to him.

"She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked. Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox," Jimmy said on the show.

"At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. I'm very attracted to her - I can work with that," he added.

The story blew up that much that the actual Megan Fox spoke to E! News about the lookalike comments.

While she hadn't watched the show, Megan had heard about the comparison.

She said: "I've never had more people text me about something because I don't really watch TV very much.

"But I've had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, 'Do you watch Love Is Blind?' And I was like, 'No, but I know what you're talking about.'"

"I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied.

"I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard."

"I believe she's telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn't steal it from her."

Chelsea has since taken to TikTok to issue a response to Megan.

She posted a video in her brand-new apartment with the overlay text reading: "Life is unreal.

"It's spring. I just moved into my dream apartment. I'm happy and healthy. Megan Fox knows who I am," she added.

"I knew everything would be okay," Chelsea added in the caption.

As fans will know, Love is Blind contestants don't actually see each other for the first part of the show, communicating over speakers in purpose built pods.

Chelsea found herself torn between two men - Jimmy and Trevor Sova.

After telling Jimmy people have told her she looks like Megan Fox, he jokes: "Can we get married?"

Chelsea eventually throws her lot in with Jimmy and accepts his proposal - a decision she goes on to have some angst about.

A rocky engagement

For a short while, things were sunshine and roses. Chelsea says of Jimmy: "I think it's so hard for me to feel loved and lovable, so for me to feel this is so surreal and its amazing."

Then, they hit some road bumps.

Chelsea accuses Jimmy of not being attentive enough; he says she can be 'clingy'. There's also tension over Jimmy spending time with female friends.

Then Chelsea meets up with Trevor and tells him: "It's been hard to not think of you sometimes." Oop.

So... did they walk down the aisle?

Ultimately, Jimmy couldn't commit to marrying Chelsea, and she accuses him of 'wasting her time', after not following through with his proposal.

After the show, Jimmy revealed they dated for another two weeks before throwing in the towel for good.
