Kristin Davis has opened up about the mockery she faced online for face fillers and how she dealt with it.

If you are celebrity, being in the public eye can often prove to be stressful.

Every aspect of your being can often be scrutinized, and that includes your appearance.

For Kristin Davis, she is very much aware of this fact and has spoken out after getting face filler, and having it removed.

In 2021, Davis dissolved the fillers. The 59 year-old actresses has since said she previously used the cosmetic tool but in recent weeks has shown off her bare face and been praised for it following constant ridicule.

Speaking to the Telegraph in June last year, she opened up about the ongoing mockery and how she dealt with it.

“It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times,” she said.

“It’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to — but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted.”

“I have done fillers and it’s been good, and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad,”

“I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.”

She added that people rarely blames the surgeons if the filler doesn’t come out well but rather the individual.

“People personally blame us when it goes wrong,” she added.

“No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time, but luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually.

“I think a forehead without any lines doesn’t tell me they’ve lived a life.”

“You do you! Fillers or no, you are beautiful, worthy ❤️ and amazing! American standards of beauty are so ridiculous! People whimper of you do, or whinge of you don't and look long in the tooth! You do what makes you happy, current and relevant to enhance your career! I love you!,” a fourth fan added.
