Insiders confirm why Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny broke up

A source has revealed the reason Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny have reportedly split up.

It may be cuffing season, but the model and Puerto Rican musician clearly aren't feeling the cold too badly.

And if you haven't quite cuffed yourself a partner for the festive season and wanted to cry a little bit harder over lost love while watching The Holiday, then Jenner and Bad Bunny's alleged breakup has got you covered - if you care that much about celebrities and their relationships, that is.

Jenner and Bad Bunny - real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio - were first spotted out and about acting coupley in February this year on a double date with none other than Justin and Hailey Bieber.

Since then, they've been spotted making various public outings together at events such as fashion shows and festivals and were last seen out together in October at a Saturday Night Live after-party.

Alas, the course of true love never did run smooth, and, despite Jenner telling Harpers Bazaar in September she loves 'really hard' and always 'fights to not have to say goodbye,' it would seem the pair have called time on their romance - a source confirming Jenner and Ocasio's split to People.

But why did Ocasio and Jenner decide to call it quits?

Well, a source tells Entertainment Weekly the pair have each 'been doing their own things lately and things slowly started to fizzle out between them'.

The source continues: "They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn't be a forever type of relationship and that was mutually understood from the get-go.

"They have crazy busy schedules and know they're still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down."

Given the split is very much mutual according to the source, they also note there 'isn't any negativity' between Jenner nor Ocasio and Jenner's family - which includes the likes of momager Kris Jenner, sister Kylie Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, half-sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and brother Rob - the notorious Kardashian-Jenners 'still think[ing] highly' of the musician.

The source ultimately resolves: "They just want her to be with whoever makes her happy, treats her with love and respect, and someone that understands and can handle the attention that comes along with dating her with poise and grace."
