Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were among the most noteworthy celebrities of the 2010s, meaning their more shocking and awe-inspiring moments will be remembered by the general population during that time for the long haul.
In most cases, this is in reference to their work. For Perry, this means her songs, such as 'Dark Horse' and 'Roar', which were huge hits once upon a time.
Meanwhile, for Bloom, it means us remembering his roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and the latter two The Hobbit films.
However, beyond their artistic contributions to the world, the pair are also known for their more personal moments as a couple that were caught on camera.

Most notably, the image of Orlando Bloom paddle boarding naked in July 2016 will go down as one of the most memorable things of the era for people who experienced it - for better or for worse.
Seemingly, it remains a topic of discussion that the now-engaged couple is asked about frequently by the media, and Katy Perry has finally shed some light on the circumstances that led to Bloom’s full-frontal decision.
“Well it was Europe,” Perry defended when asked about the scandalous photos in an interview with Howard Stern back in 2020.
“We had had a pretty chill time for a week and everywhere we looked it was like everybody was naked,” Perry continued, “It was Italy, and I think he wanted to fit in with the locals.”
While the setting of the trip does aid in explaining why Bloom decided to strip on that fateful day, Perry’s lack of nudity came due to a sense of foresight for the “Teenage Dream” singer.
“He tried to get me [to strip] and I was like, ‘nah,’” Perry revealed earlier in the Stern interview.
Perry was then asked if her hesitation was because she knew photos of the occasion would inevitably be seen by the public in some way.
“In the back of my mind, I am like Jim Carrey in The Truman Show a little bit, so I thought maybe there would be a chance,” Perry explained.
“I would say I'm a little bit more of the pragmatic in the partnership.”
In the years since their 2016 vacation in Italy, Perry and Bloom have had a baby daughter together and are planning on getting married, making the paddle boarding photos a distant memory for the couple. However, back in 2016, the photos of Bloom’s package circulated like wildfire online.
“All of a sudden, he is number one trending on Twitter and I was like, ‘How?!’”
