Johnny Depp has showcased his recent dental makeover a year after fans spotted his 'rotting' teeth.

Funnily enough, Depp's teeth have long been a topic of discussion, ever since his appearance in the Pirates of the Caribbean, really.

"I had a root canal done eight years ago that’s unfinished. It’s like a rotten little stub," Depp said of his dental health in 1990s.

"When I see people with perfect teeth, it drives me up the wall. I’d rather swallow a tick than have that!"

Following the infamous court battle with ex-wife Amber Heard, many on social media commented on how the actor's teeth were 'literally rotting away'.

Well, it appears Depp has done something about his teeth worries, as revealed in a viral video posted to Instagram.

The clip, which was uploaded by the Killer Bartender, sees Depp in Lorraine’s Café in Exuma, Bamahas.

"jacksparrow meets the killerbartender of exuma bahamas... once in a lifetime moments with mr jonhny Depp," the bartender captioned the video.

The footage sees a smiling Depp chat away with the bartender, with a rum in hand.

I mean, he's doing the Bahamas right, eh?

But what many folks have picked up on is how good the 61-year-old's teeth are looking.

"He looks SO SOOO good! 🔥Happier & healthier than ever! Such a beautiful soul inside and out! A true gem!! 💎Thank you for sharing with all his relatives!!"

A second added: "Now there will be no one who can say anything bad about @johnnydepp 's teeth. He has a beautiful mouth, a very healthy appearance, and his clothes are just like Johnny's, which always makes me smile,😅😅😅😅😅 because only he walks like that.

"A man who continues to be very human, humble."

A third quipped: "Yes, someone did some wonderful work on his teeth. That smile is even more gorgeous!! But it was before, in my eyes. I love his heart.

"I only worried that he might lose some teeth before, but even if he lost them all, I would still love him the same!!"

Meanwhile, another person commented on where the rum is produced, saying: "Lorraine’s Cafe & Bar makes the best rum and gallon-of-juice cocktail in the world!!!"

In the clip, Depp noticed and made a passing comment on a painting of his character Captain Jack Sparrow, which greets people upon entry into the cafe.
