Disturbing court document alleges grim details of Brad Pitt’s abuse towards Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie’s allegations of Brad Pitt’s abuse have been detailed in a 2022 court document that was shared online.
After the actress filed for divorce in 2016, there was a lot of speculation as to why the pair were suddenly splitting, until allegations of abuse emerged, which shocked the public.
According to Jolie, on September 14, 2016, she was attacked by her then husband, with her children also being assaulted on a plane, leading to the FBI becoming involved.
The document, which was posted to Reddit, detailed the events of that day and the reason for why the Tomb Raider star felt that it was necessary to separate from her husband of two years.

As of right now, the pair are locked in a lengthy and messy court battle over their once-shared winery business, as Pitt alleges that Jolie broke ‘contractural rights’ by selling her share of Château Miraval without his knowledge.
Jolie’s lawyers then claimed in the countersuit that they had tried to discuss with Pitt’s team about selling her side of the company, but he demanded she sign ‘a nondisclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.’
As a result, things got messy.
The abuse alleged by Jolie is detailed in the Reddit 2022 document, which claims that ‘Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face’ and ‘grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her’ during an altercation on the aircraft.
According to the page, which highlighted key parts of the claim against Pitt, the actor claimed that Jolie was ‘too deferential’ to their kids, before he pulled her into the bathroom and attacked her.
It reads: “Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall.”
“Pitt then punched the ceiling of the plane numerous times, prompting Jolie to leave the bathroom.”
It was then alleged that Pitt attempted to get physical with one of the kids after the child tried to protect their mom.
It read: “When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him.”
It added: “To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow.
“The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.”
People who read the document on Reddit were shocked and upset.
One person theorized: "And I really doubt this was the first incident, just the worst incident."
Another wrote: "the fact that every single one of his daughters dropped his last name is very telling."
It was reported by Vanity Fair that Jolie was behind the anonymous 2016 lawsuit, and she told an FBI agent that Pitt ‘physically and verbally assaulted’ her and their children.
However, the agent decided not to pursue criminal charges.
As the allegations are being brought to light in their winery suit, Jolie’s lawyer stressed that she didn’t want any of this to happen.
In a statement, her team wrote: “His [Pitt’s] actions harmed Angelina and their children and are central to this case.
“But I want to again emphasize that Angelina never wanted any of this.”
Pitt has categorically denied the abuse claims or attack on the plane, releasing a statement written by his lawyer, Anne Kiley which: “Brad has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one—unlike the other side—but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do.
“He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation.
“Thankfully, the various public authorities the other side has tried to use against him over the past six years have made their own independent decisions.
“Brad will continue to respond in court as he has consistently done.”
