Brie Larson completely overwhelmed as she meets Jennifer Lopez for the first time

People are flooding to social media in awe of a 'truly special' moment between Brie Larson and Jennifer Lopez at the Golden Globes.
Providing us with the most relatable moment at the 81st Golden Globes Awards 2024 - which took place yesterday (January 7) - Larson was left in a fluster after spotting Lopez.
The Marvels actor was mid-way through an interview when she saw her idol and immediately broke down.
Prepare for a seriously wholesome moment.

Larson was being interview by Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier when the interviewer pointed out JLo in the crowds.
The star immediately turned away to hide her face, exclaiming: "Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm going to cry. I can't deal with JLo."
Frazier reassured the actor that we 'all get this way'. Indeed, Larson's response to seeing one of her inspirations is one of the most relatable moments from the whole event.
And it didn't end there either - as JLo soon made her way over.
Realising she's about to meet her idol for the first time, Larson gets so overwhelmed she can barely get her words out, flapping her hands and trying to keep glancing over at JLo but also compose herself, exclaiming she's 'going to cry' as Lopez rises up the steps to come face-to-face with her.
"You mean so much to me," Larson blurts out, as JLo steps towards her to hug her, simply saying: "Hi, how are you?" - Obviously not quite realising yet the impact she's having on Larson, or realising but keeping her cool like a true pro.
The Scott Pilgrim vs the World star continues: "I'm such a huge fan. I saw Selena and it made me want to be an actor and you've always meant so much to me.
"It's just been a dream of mine so thank you so much. Your work ethic is so important so thank you."
And this time, it's Lopez's time to get emotional, so touched by Larson's words she's moved to tears, thanking her fellow actor for her kind words and embracing her again.
Larson then rushes off to do a shot of tequila - again, the most relatable response to feeling overwhelmed after meeting JLo - and Lopez jokes that she's already done one.
Absolute queens.
Oh, and Larson quickly shouts over to her mom about meeting the singer before questioning whether the interview is even actually over, saying 'it has to be' if not - still very much overwhelmed.
And it's not taken long for people to flock to social media in awe of the pair.
One X - formerly known as Twitter - user said: "She is so genuine and so sweet i love Brie."
"This is exactly how I would act if I saw #JLO in person........#GoldenGlobes2024," another added.
And a third wrote: "This is so wholesome and Jlo saying shes huge fan."
