MrBeast is being called out after tipping waitress a brand new car

She admitted she can't even drive yet

YouTuber MrBeast is being called out online after tipping a waitress a brand new car – which she can’t actually drive.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for surprising strangers with wild, lavish gifts, having recently literally cured blind people by splashing out for 1,000 of them to have cataract surgery to gain their vision back.

Yep, Donaldson doesn’t do things by halves, it has to be said.

And that includes tipping at restaurants, having now presented a waitress with a brand new car.

The 24-year-old posted a video on Instagram and TikTok, writing: “Amy’s been getting to work without a car for months, thanks to you we changed that.”

In a comment, he added: “Buy more @feastables bars so I can give away more cars like this.”

Indeed, the car he gave her came splashed with branding for Feastables, the YouTuber’s chocolate bar brand made using only four base ingredients.

In the clip, Donaldson asked waitress Amy: “What’s the biggest tip you’ve ever gotten?”

She replied sheepishly: “Like $50."

Casually handing her a set of keys to a brand new black Toyota Sedan, he then said: “Has anyone ever tipped a car?”

The pair went outside to check out Amy’s new ride, at which point she started tearing up.

“I wasn’t expecting you to cry!” Donaldson said.

Amy admitted she was in ‘shock’ about the unexpected generous gift, but admitted she didn’t actually know how to drive yet.

“I was literally late to work today because the Uber was slow,” she said.

“I’m in such shock right now. I don’t even know how to drive.”

The video was met with divided reaction from Donaldson’s followers, with some calling him out for making Amy a ‘driving advertisement’.

Another said on Twitter: “Love MrBeast but he gave her a car with an ad on it ahahahahahhaahahahshsh.”

Another commented on TikTok: “MrBeast you can do better than that. Why wrap it like that? I’ve seen you give away plenty [of] non branded stuff.”

However, some people praised Donaldson for his generosity, with one asking: “Who could ever hate on this guy?”

Someone else said: “YouTube stars doing more for Americans than the government.”

A third wrote: “My dude casually out here restoring my faith in humanity.”

Another commented: “Mr. Beast is the true definition of lead by example.”
