Matt Damon doesn’t want George Clooney to forget one of his most shocking moments, which involved a litter box and a cat.
While paying tribute to his friend and Ocean's Eleven co-star, Damon, 52, made a joke about Clooney, 61, in a teaser for the 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, per E!

Damon began by poking fun at Clooney’s classy and sophisticated nature. “It has been said that my friend George Clooney is the last of the true movie stars,” he teased. “So, I got to thinking about exactly what that meant.”
“Of course, a number of past Kennedy Center honourees have certainly been movie stars in that classic sense. Actors with class and sophistication — Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck.”
Once he named the honourees of the past, Damon quipped: “And then I think of George, a man who defecated in Richard Kind's kitty litter box as a joke.
“A man who once stole Bill Clinton’s stationery and wrote fake notes to actors, saying how much the president loved their movies.”

This may come as a shock for even the most dedicated fans of the ER star, so let us explain.
During a joint appearance on the SmartLess podcast in March 2021, Clooney and former Spin City actor Richard Kind revealed the hilarious details behind the now-infamous litter box prank.
The pair used to live together and the litter box fiasco began when prankster Clooney kept cleaning the litter box belonging to Kind’s cat, making him think his pet was constipated.

"And then he takes the cat to the vet, and they give him this kitty Metamucil,” Clooney shared. “And so now this little kitty is s***ting 15 times a day, and I am scooping it all up, because I have nothing else to do. I have no idea why. It’s just funny.”
Kind believed his cat was still constipated, which led Academy Award winner Clooney to go to desperate measures involving his own stool.
“The light bulb, you know, goes off, and I realised what I must do, which is take a s*** in the cat box,” Clooney confessed.

“He’s in there for like a minute, and I don’t hear anything and then, all of a sudden, I hear, ‘Oh, my God!’ I come in and I just, tears coming down my eyes, I’m laughing, and slowly he figures it out.
“He gets madder and madder and, finally, he’s like, ‘I understand humour. Defecation doesn’t make me laugh.’”
Who knew Clooney was such a fan of potty humour.
