Kanye West Grammy's Performance Cancelled Over 'Concerning Online Behaviour'

Kanye West has been getting involved with Trevor Noah and Pete Davidson recently, and the Grammys aren't having it

Kanye West will no longer perform at the Grammys because – in part – of a social media post he made about the host, comedian Trevor Noah.

Representatives for West, who recently changed his legal name to Ye, confirmed he’s not going to be taking to the stage at the 2022 Grammy Awards because of his ‘concerning online behaviour’.

As well as his post about Noah, which landed him a 24-hour Instagram ban and contained a racial slur, West has also been involved in a bitter and utterly bizarre spat with another comedian, Pete Davidson.

Davidson is now thought to be in a relationship with Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and it seems West isn’t best pleased with that.

However, he’s not exactly dealt with it in the correct fashion, creating a music video that disturbingly depicts Davidson being decapitated, among other things.

Anyway, back to the Grammys. The Daily Show host Noah spoke on television recently about the breakdown of Kanye and Kim’s marriage.

He said: 'I see a woman who wants to live her life without being harassed by an ex-boyfriend or an ex-husband or an ex-anything'

'If Kim Kardashian cannot escape this, then what chance do normal women have?'

West is also currently feuding with Pete Davidson.

Kanye then shared the Instagram post that showed a picture of a Google search for Trevor Noah and a racial slur.

Instagram took action and temporarily suspended West’s account for violating their policies on bullying, harassment, and hate speech.

Then, it is believed Kanye’s team got a phone call from those in charge at the Grammys to say his planned performance was being axed 'due to what they deem to be concerning online behaviour', according to The Blast.

What’s more, Noah will be hosting the event, so it’s probably in their interests to remove as many variables as possible.

Who knows how the pair might have interacted?

It’s not as if Kanye doesn’t have previous for going seriously off piste and causing havoc at an awards ceremony, is it? ‘Imma let you finish’, etc.

Fellow rapper The Game – who recently collaborated with Ye on the video that featured a Claymation Pete Davidson being killed – isn’t happy with the call.

On Instagram, he wrote: 'Time and time again they show us that they only want to STEAL the culture, not allow you to ever be their equals.

'In a more than obvious move for reasons of minuscule actions, the Grammys have at the last minute decided to pull @kanyewest from performing on the show – as if we didn’t know it was coming.'
