Jonathan Knight is an American singer, most famous for being a member of the pop group New Kids On The Block, who rose to fame in the late 80s to the early 90s. The band's most famous records include hits such as ‘Step By Step’, ‘I’ll Be Loving You (Forever)’, and ‘You Got It (The Right Stuff)’.
Since Knight left the band back in 1994, he’s stayed relatively low-key, becoming a real estate investor in Massachusetts.

The pop group sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, with their self-titled debut going triple platinum in the United States. The band also won the American Music Award for Favourite Pop/Rock group in both 1990 and 1991.
So, when and where did the star’s road to success begin?
Knight joined New Kids On The Block at age 16 after his younger brother, Jordan, was invited into the group by band member Donnie Wahlberg.
The band eventually acquired enough members, consisting of Jonathan, Jordan, Donnie, and his younger brother Mark Wahlberg, who you might just know from his acting career. Mark and fellow bandmate Jamie eventually left the band and were replaced by Joey McIntyre who was only 12 at the time.
The band rocketed to success in the late 80s after the release of ‘Please Don't Go Girl’ in 1988, and continued to find fame into the 90s. However, as the band grew more popular Jonathan started to experience increased anxiety, ultimately leading him to leave the band in 1994.
After quitting, the musician rarely appeared in public or gave interviews, until 2008 when the band announced they were reuniting after almost 15 years. Their album The Block was met with applause as it went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums Chart.
Aside from New Kids On The Block, Knight works as a real estate investor in his farmhouse in Massachusetts. The star has kept himself busy with some other exploits as well, for example in 2015 Knight and his now-husband Harley Rodriguez appeared in the reality competition series The Amazing Race. Since 2021, the 53-year-old has been hosting the HGTV show Farmhouse Fixer.
