Howie Mandel was born on 29 November 1955 in North York, Ontario but later moved to Los Angeles in 1978 to advance his career in performing.
While Mandel is known as a judge on AGT, he rose to fame as an actor in medical drama St. Elsewhere, playing Dr. Wayne Fiscus, in 1982.
