Fans Think They've Found Proof Travis Barker Actually Moved To Calabasas To Date Kim Kardashian

Kardashian fans believe they have found proof that Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian's whirlwind romance might not have been so star-crossed after all.

In fact, some fans think Travis moved to Calabasas to date Kim, not Kourtney. Awkward.

In one of the latest TV episode of The Kardashians, mum and family matriarch Kris Jenner reveals a seemingly sweet truth to Kourtney. Speaking to her eldest daughter, she said: "Do you want to know the real reason why he moved to Calabasas?"

She continued: "He said, 'Because I knew she lived in Calabasas, and I knew she was the love of my life, and I didn't even know her like that, but I just knew if I couldn't date her or be with her because she was with someone else that at least I could live by her.'"

As cute as this sounds, Kardashian fans have now raised their doubts over Travis's romantic move to be closer to Kourtney. Some believe he may have wanted to be closer to Kim instead.

In 2007, when Travis moved to California's Calabasas he revealed he had a huge "crush" on Kim Kardashian. In fact, in his autobiography in 2015 he professed being into her. In his autobiography, titled Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums, Travis refers to Kim as 'f***ing hot' adding that she's 'eye candy'. He also states that he had a huge 'crush' on her.

So while in the latest episode, Kris is trying to point out a sweet gesture from Travis, fans have been quick to dismiss it. One fan tweeted: "On the Kardashians, Kris Jenner tells a story about how Travis Barker moved to Calabasas to love Kourtney from afar. Well I’ve read his book and knew this….. he was after Kim not Kourtney. Awk."

A second echoed their thoughts, writing: "Travis Barker wanted a Kardashian so bad, he spent years talking about Kim in interviews and then he says he moved to Calabasas to live close to Kourtney years before he even knew her."

A third tweeted: "He had a huge crush on Kim too right?? Kinda awkward". In response, another fan responded: "Like not even a little crush, he was clearly obsessed."

"With all that came out about travis obsession with kim these past few days. It wouldnt be wrong for people to wonder if kourtney was his replacement. Like saying he moved there to be by kourtney when in 2015 he wrote in his book how he wanted kim even then. He moved to by her kim," shared another.

One fan has even suggested that Travis and Kim might have dated years before Travis and Kourtney tied the knot. One viewer tweeted: "I have always been a fan from day one. Travis used to date Kim. Then he moved to be close to Kourtney 15 years ago. It’s in his book and Kris Jenner said it in the last episode. Does that seem stalker-like to anyone else? Or just me?"
