In case you've somehow missed it, the richest man in the world is pretty eccentric, and isn’t shy about showing it.

Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, so you would be forgiven for thinking he does everything by the book and forever gives PR-friendly insights.

Oh boy, not in the slightest.

But even for his out-there standards, this one did raise some eyebrows while also leaving some people in hysterics.

Musk essentially ‘confessed’ that he was indeed a 3,000-year-old time-travelling alien vampire.

So, yeah, a lot to unpack there.

It all started on November 24, when Musk shared a meme on his page that said: “Would you believe it. My neighbor was knocking on my door at 2:30 this morning. Luckily, I was still up, playing my bagpipes."

Twitter users questioned why Musk was even up at 2:30 am, with one joking: “You don’t sleep because you’re a vampire?”

They even shared a screenshot of Musk’s previous comment where he admitted to being a ‘3000-year-old vampire’.

To which Musk responded: "I'm a time-travelling vampire!"

After this, another person said she thought Musk was an alien, to which he then decided to correct himself saying he was ‘Time-travelling, vampire alien’.

So yeah, you have that information now.

Musk took the joke an even greater step forward and had his page changed to say ‘verified since 3000 BCE’.

Some of Musk’s fans really did get a kick out of the whole episode of jokes.

One person on social media wrote: "3000 BCE? Time-traveling, vampire alien Elon Musk is officially the most interesting man in history (and prehistory).

“What’s next—building pyramids with Tesla tech?"

Another said: “The man, the myth, the legend, the time-traveling autistic vampire alien.I love it here.”

A third wrote: “Come to think of it, we have not seen Elon Musk and a pre-dynastic period Pharoah in the same room at the same time, have we..?”

However, some people started to take it a little more seriously than likely intended.

With one fan commenting: "With the amount he has accomplished, people start to talk. It's natural and even justified. Even among giants, the dude is not normal. He also talks in a strange way, like English is not his first language.

“He knows it well, but his mind still hesitates, just slightly, because there is possibly another, more ancient language in there. Of course, I am just being conspiracy theory adventurous. He is overly accomplished and strange, not necessarily in a negative way, just strange, it makes you start to wonder.”

Yeah, that might be enough Twitter for now.
