Chris Evans issues brutal sledge to fellow Avengers star Jeremy Renner after snow plow accident

The Hollywood star queried if anyone had checked in with the snow plow while Renner makes his recovery from the near-fatal incident.

Chris Evans has taken a hilarious swipe at his fellow Avengers star Jeremy Renner in the wake of the brutal snow plow accident that nearly killed the Hollywood star.

Evans, also known as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, took to Twitter to playfully rib his castmate as he recovers at home.

"That's one tough mf'er," Evans wrote after Renner posted a photograph of himself laid on a bed while appearing to get physical therapy.

He then went for the jugular: "Has anyone even checked on the Snowcat?"

The Snowcat, of course, being the PistenBully vehicle that mowed Renner down.

"Sending so much love," the Lightyear star ended with.

Savage.

But it seems that Renner didn't break his funny bone in his horror accident, hitting back with: "Love you brother…. I did check on the snow cat , she needs fuel."

Renner was released from hospital last week to continue his recovery at home after his horror snow plow incident.

The Tag actor revealed he was able to watch the season two premiere of his show Mayor of Kingstown in the comfort of his own home.

"Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home," the Avengers star said on Twitter.

The Marvel star has been in hospital since the beginning of the year after he was hit by his own 14,300lbs vehicle outside his home near Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Rennner, who recently turned 52 while in ICU, was airlifted to hospital after he was hit by his own vehicle outside his home near Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains on New Year's Day.

He was attempting to free a car that had become stranded in the heavy snow.

A representative told Deadline at the time: "We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023.

"Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families."

The actor has since revealed he broke more than 30 bones in the near-fatal accident.
