Brittany Mahomes hits back after fans criticized her ‘high horse’ attitude towards stadium employee

Brittany Mahomes has taken to social media to hit back at those criticizing her attitude towards a stadium employee while at a recent NFL match.

Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has been facing a lot of flak lately.

A brief interaction between Brittany and a member of staff has seemed to blow up in a way only seen in the age of social media.

After her husband’s team beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday (January 28), solidifying their place in the Super Bowl, the couple were spotted together.

The pair left the field and together they walked through the hallways of the M&T Bank Stadium with other players and supporters.

All seemed fine and the happy couple even kissed to show their affection to one another before going their separate ways.

But Brittany didn't seem sure where she should go and turned to an employee off-camera for help, and that seemed to rub people the wrong way.

She waved her finger around hoping for the member of staff to direct her correctly and asked: "Where do we go from here?"

A TikTok video, posted by NFLoncbs, showed the brief interaction and the comment section was filled with comments criticizing Brittany.

"Mahomes wife needs to get up off her high horse," wrote one user, while another said: "Brittany Mahomes seems like such a diva."

“Ever since she has been hanging out with Taylor, she thinks she’s super important. The tone of voice she uses with the swirl of her finger,” a third added.

“Do you walk round waving your fingers and such manner talking in a condescending tone?” another wrote replying to a user defending Brittany.

However, it seems Brittany is set to have the last laugh as on her Instagram Stories, she reshared a previous post addressing critics.

“I take rumors as a compliment. The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered,” she wrote.

Thankfully in this instance, social media wasn’t one sided and many fans defended Brittany and questioned what people’s issue was.

“What did she do wrong?!" one person questioned.

And another said: "All she did was ask where to go, twirling her finger as part of an expression of the question. why ppl telling her to get [off]."

“What sassy tone? She’s literally just asking where to go from there. If her voice was super nice and polite you’d be saying she’s fake," a final pointed out.

I guess the internet will always find something to complain about.
