Comedian Bill Burr has been praised for his roast of Kanye West, which seemed to foreshadow the rapper’s recent antisemitic behaviour.

You can watch the skit below, which eerily seems to predict Ye's bizarre comments praising Hitler:

In recent months, West has been dumped by many of his brands, including Adidas and Balenciaga, following antisemitic remarks he made.

Earlier this week, tensions heightened further when West was interviewed by right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on InfoWars, where he admitted he ‘likes’ Hitler.

West said: "I love everyone, and Jewish people are not gonna tell me… ‘You can love us, and you can love what we’re doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with the pornography.’

Kanye West wore a balaclava over his face when he made the remarks.

"But this guy that invented highways, invented the very microphone that I use as a musician - you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good, and I’m done with that.

"I’m done with the classifications, every human being has something of value that they brought to the table. Especially Hitler."

Now a resurfaced clip from 2017 shows comedian Bill Burr subtly comparing West to a certain fascist obsessed with a ‘superior race’.

In the bit, which was shared on Twitter by @WUTangKids, Burr says: “Next time Kanye’s going off on himself, just close your eyes, forget it’s him and really listen to what is coming out of this guy’s mouth.

“He says s*** like, ‘I’m a genius. I’m a God, I’m Shakespeare. My biggest regret is I won’t get to see myself perform live.’ That’s a direct quote: ‘My biggest regret is I won’t get to see myself perform live.’

The clip is from Burr's 2017 standup show Walk Your Way Out.

He continued: “Dude, you put that ego in a white dude and it’s...”

At this point, he launched into a clear impression of Hitler, spouting phrases in German as the audience laughed.

Commenting on the tweet, one social media user said: “I swear comedians can see in the future.”

Someone else wrote: “Nailed it.”

A third said: “Bill knows. Listen to Bill.”

A fourth added: “Geez. Burr nailed it.”

While another stunned user commented: “Wow! That was 2017! He got it right on.”

Unaware of the exact timeline, one person also asked: “I’m not versed in Kanye lore but was he trending towards antisemitism in 2017 already or is Bill just a freaking visionary?”

Someone else replied: “It's the megalomania he's pointing out, not the anti-semitism it often leads to.”
