Rapper Azealia Banks stormed off stage at a Pride event in Miami after telling fans she didn't even want to be there.
Booked to perform at Wynwood Pride, the rapper appeared topless on stage and only got through a few of her songs before declaring to the crowd that she didn't want to be there and making an exit.
Several fans complained on social media that she had arrived several hours late but the wait ended up being far longer than the show itself.

"I’ve been being f****d around with, you know? Set time has been moved and like, 'Oh, you’re headlining. No, you’re not headlining. Now you’re not this.'"
"I’m so unhappy to be here. But what did the fans ever do? What did you guys ever do, right? I’m trying, y’all. But it’s difficult."
At that point the rapper's microphone was cut off and she stormed off the stage, which prompted a chorus of boos from the crowd when they realised she wasn't coming back.
Screens following the singer's performance were also quickly switched off and it became apparent that the show was over.

One fan appeared to throw their drink on stage at Banks, who turned and showed both middle fingers to the crowd as she left the stage.
Social media was full of criticism for Banks, with many questioning why she had been booked to star at a Pride event in the first place.
One person wrote: "Why is Azealia Banks, someone who's consistently been homophobic and transphobic, at a pride event in the first place?"

A second commenter said the rapper had 'always been problematic', while a third person said she was 'the LAST person who should be at Pride'.
Others expressed concern for the rapper's wellbeing after she stormed off stage, with someone saying she 'needs professional help' and another worrying the singer may have issues they 'don't think are treated effectively'.
According to The Independent, Banks later took to Twitter to complain about the show and the amount of dry ice present, writing that she is 'EXTREMELY allergic to it'.

Her account was later suspended, something which has happened before in 2016 when she hit out at former One Direction singer Zayn Malik with racist language for which she later apologised.
She was suspended again from Twitter in 2020 for a series of transphobic tweets and has previously attracted backlash for homophobic comments she has made in the past.
