Amy Schumer has opened about the side effect of drug Ozempic that stopped her from playing with her son.
The comedian admitted she's tried out the diabetes medication that many celebrities use for weight loss - something she criticized stars for 'lying' about doing.
Ozempic is a drug for adults with type 2 diabetes used to improve blood sugar levels, but it's quite the hot topic amongst celebs and influencers who use it to lose weight in a short amount of time.

Schumer, 42, opened up about her experience with Ozempic on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last week, 8 June.
"So, like a year ago, I tried it. It's like y'know you try it. And I was one of the people that felt like so sick and like couldn't like play with my son. I was so skinny," she explained.
Schumer said that her son Gene, now four, would be 'throwing a ball' at her and she couldn't even engage.

"You're like 'this isn't liveable for me'."
The actor teased she 'immediately invested' in Ozempic at the time because she figured 'everyone and their mom's gonna try it'.
After saying the drug had made her too unwell to even play with her son, she went on to slam other celebrities for taking it, and lying about it.
"Everyone has been lying saying, ‘Oh smaller portions’.

“Like shut the f— up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop."
Not calling out any Ozempic-dabbling stars, Schumer went on to point out that she admitted to having liposuction.
"Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo," she told Cohen.

Ozempic is not FDA-approved as a treatment for excess weight or obesity, despite being popular with the rich and famous for its weight-loss effects.
The drug is a brand of Semaglutide like Wegovy - which is actually approved treatment under certain circumstances.
Ozempic's website lists possible side effects of the medication, including vomiting, diarrhoea and constipation.
Some celebrities have admitted to using a drug to help them lose weight, including Sharon Osbourne.

While she didn't name the drug she used, she revealed that after four months of taking it she lost a total of 30lbs (2.1 stone).
“I took [the injection],” she said on her Talk TV show. “I took it for four months and I lost 30lbs, but like everything, there’s always no quick recipe.
“I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever."
