Amber Heard has 'quit Hollywood' and 'moved to Spain' to get 'away from all the noise'

The actor has reportedly upped sticks and relocated to Madrid.

Amber Heard has reportedly left Hollywood in the dust and has relocated to the sunny capital city of Spain with her daughter.

With the horrific court case against her ex-husband well and truly behind her, the Aquaman actor is understood to have put down roots in Madrid and has no plans of returning to Los Angeles anytime soon.

And, with Depp about to become the toast of Cannes with his movie Jeanne du Barry opening the French film festival, a recent sell-out of artworks, and a book on the go, who could blame her for wanting space?

A friend of Heard's spoke to the Daily Mail, revealing she has found some peace in Europe away from the bright lights of Hollywood.

Amber Heard testified that Johnny Depp was physically and sexually violent towards her during their relationship and marriage.

"She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise," the source said.

"I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project."

Heard did dip out of the spotlight after Depp won his defamation case against her in Virginia after she said she was a victim of domestic violence.

Heard, 37, sold her home in Yucca Valley in California about one month after court proceedings came to a close.

She hasn't been seen or heard from since... in Hollywood, that is.

She had, however, been spotted in a small village in Mallorca where The Times reported in October she had been living under the pseudonym Martha Jane Cannary, which is the real name of old-West American sharpshooter Calamity Jane.

The El Diario de Mallorca reported: "The choice of this identity, which appears at the entrance of her new Mallorcan home, draws much attention, especially as Johnny Depp always maintained that his family trace their roots to ancient Native American tribes and that his great-great-grandmother was Cherokee."

Spanish newspaper El País also reported: "Amber Heard does not stand out among the thousands of foreigners who colonise the streets of the most touristic towns of the largest of the Balearic Islands."

It added: "[She] actress is disguising herself as a visitor in an ocean of English-speaking tourists."

But, as per the Daily Mail's source, she's now given up her island life - probably because the local press let her new identity slip - and has settled in Madrid with no plans to return for the time being.

Another source told the National Enquirer via TheNews that Heard knows her time is up in Hollywood with Depp's supporters baying for her blood.

"Depp’s got the most powerful players lining up to cast him and the majority of A-listers firmly on his side," the source said.

"By moving somewhere like Spain, she hopes to reinvent herself, leave her money woes behind, and start fresh with her daughter."

The clearly team-Depp source added: "She can see herself living in Spain, where no one accuses her of being a conniving liar, but she won’t get away with trying to run from justice."

Heard's representatives were approached for comment on this story.
