Podcast host Bobbi Althoff is said to have been removed by security from a party hosted by Drake's team after she allegedly showed up 'uninvited'.

What was the SXSW party for?

This year's South By Southwest festival is currently underway in Austin, Texas, and earlier this week it featured a premiere of the new docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy.

The series features stars such as Shaquille O'Neal, 2 Chainz and Nelly, and was co-executive produced by Drake's company, DreamCrew Entertainment.

Following the premiere, Drake's team hosted a party at a Mayfair nightclub they'd transformed to look like the the iconic Atlanta strip club Magic City, which forms the basis for the new series.

A star-studded event

Though the party was hosted by Drake's people, it's been reported that the Canadian rapper himself didn't attend the event, which fell in the midst of his 'It's All A Blur' tour.

There were still a number of big names in attendance though, including the likes of Carmelo Anthony, 2 Chainz, TI and Killer Mike.

Drake himself was not at the party.

Bobbi Althoff accused of crashing the party

One person who was apparently not on the list for the event was Althoff; the host of The Really Good Podcast.

However, Althoff was in Austin for the festival, and is said to have turned up to Drake's party 'uninvited'.

According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, the podcast host was forced to leave the party as members of security allegedly removed her.

One onlooker claimed: "I have no idea how she got in because she was not invited by organizers or hosts of the event.

"If you look up the past history between her and Drake, it's easy to see why she wasn't invited – and why she was removed as soon as possible."

The history between Drake and Althoff

After launching her podcast in April 2023, Althoff managed to secure Drake as a guest on the show.

Clips from the episode quickly went viral on TikTok, but just one month after it was released, the full interview was removed from Althoff's YouTube channel.

With no real explanation as to why the episode was taken down, internet users began speculating there had been a feud between the pair - a theory only fuelled when they both unfollowed each other on social media.

Other people speculated that the removal of the episode indicated Drake and Althoff may have had a relationship, but Althoff has repeatedly denied such claims.

Neither Althoff or Drake have commented on Athoff's alleged removal from the SXSW party at the time of writing (March 15).

UNILAD has reached out to representatives for both Althoff and Drake for comment.
